ONLINE VOICE LESSONS FOR TEENS AND ADULTS

Build a Healthy, Confident Voice.

Personalized online voice lessons that combine artistic excellence with science-guided teaching.

Whether you are singing for the first time, developing an existing voice, returning after time away, or preparing for an examination or audition, lessons are designed around your voice, musical interests, and goals.

You Do Not Need to Arrive Already Confident.

Starting voice lessons can feel vulnerable. Many students worry that they are not talented enough, cannot read music, have waited too long, or will be expected to sing perfectly.

None of those things is required.

You are welcome to begin exactly where you are. Lessons provide a supportive environment in which questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of learning, and progress is built one step at a time.

I work with:

  • Complete beginners

  • Teen and adult singers

  • Returning singers

  • Students developing classical, musical theatre, or contemporary skills

  • RCM candidates

  • Singers preparing for auditions and performances

Voice Lessons Build More Than a Beautiful Sound.

Voice training brings together physical coordination, musicianship, communication, and artistry. Depending on your experience and goals, lessons may include:

Healthy Vocal Technique

Develop efficient coordination without unnecessary pushing, squeezing, or strain.

Resonance and Tone

Discover how vocal tract shaping, vowels, and articulation influence clarity, color, and ease.

Breathing and Coordination

Learn how breathing supports singing without creating excessive tension or pressure.

Musicianship

Strengthen pitch accuracy, rhythm, ear training, sight-singing, music reading, and independent learning skills.

Registration and Range

Explore chest voice, head voice, and the transitions between registers with greater freedom and consistency.

Expression and Performance

Develop interpretation, phrasing, diction, stage presence, and confidence sharing your music.

Personalized Instruction—Not a One-Size-Fits-All Method.

Every voice is influenced by individual anatomy, coordination, experience, habits, repertoire, and goals. That is why the same explanation or exercise does not work equally well for every singer.

In lessons, we identify what you need now and choose exercises, imagery, repertoire, and practice strategies accordingly. As your skills develop, the approach evolves with you.

You will learn not only what to do, but why it works. Understanding helps you recognize productive sensations, make informed adjustments, and practice more independently between lessons.

Repertoire May Include

Classical music, art song, opera, musical theatre, contemporary styles, and music selected around your interests and technical development.

Science Supports the Singing. It Does Not Replace the Music.

Science-guided teaching can help make vocal concepts clearer and reduce unnecessary guesswork. Depending on the student, we may explore ideas related to breathing, vocal fold function, registration, resonance, articulation, and acoustic efficiency.

These concepts are always presented in practical, accessible language. Lessons do not become anatomy lectures. Scientific understanding is used only when it helps you sing with greater ease, health, consistency, and expression.

The ultimate goal is not to think about mechanics while performing. It is to build reliable coordination so that technique supports communication and artistic freedom.

A Clear and Supportive Learning Process

Although every lesson is personalized, a typical session may include:

Check In

We briefly discuss how your voice has been feeling, what you practiced, and any questions or challenges that arose.

Build Coordination

We use warm-ups and targeted exercises to develop the skills most relevant to your current needs.

Apply the Skills to Music

We transfer technical ideas into repertoire, working on musicianship, language, interpretation, and expression.

Leave with a Plan

You receive clear practice priorities and exercises so that you know what to work on between lessons.

Lessons are available in 30-, 45-, and 55-minute formats. The appropriate length depends on your age, experience, and goals.

Expert Guidance, Wherever You Are

Online voice lessons make specialized instruction accessible without commuting or being limited by geography.

Students can learn in their own practice environment, access digital scores and lesson materials easily, and maintain a more consistent weekly routine. Screen sharing, visual demonstrations, recordings, and shared resources support detailed and interactive instruction.

Most importantly, online teaching remains personal. Effective lessons still depend on careful listening, clear communication, individualized feedback, and a trusting teacher–student relationship.
