Weekly Lesson Options
Ideal for younger students, beginners with focused goals, musicianship support, or shorter weekly instruction.
Recommended for advanced study, examination or audition preparation, combined voice and musicianship work, or students managing substantial repertoire.
Tuition is billed monthly and reserves a consistent weekly lesson time.
A balanced option for most voice and piano students, allowing time for technique, musicianship, and repertoire.
A Consistent Weekly Schedule
Lessons are held online at a regular weekly day and time reserved specifically for each student.
Consistent attendance supports steady progress and allows students to develop productive practice routines. Tuition reserves this weekly appointment and is not calculated according to attendance.
Tuition for the month is due on or before the first scheduled lesson of that month.
More Than Time on a Video Call
Tuition supports your reserved weekly lesson time as well as the preparation and resources that make individualized instruction possible.
Depending on the student’s program, instruction may include:
Personalized weekly lessons
Individual repertoire selection
Practice guidance and assignments
Digital scores and learning materials when appropriate
Technical and musicianship exercises
RCM or audition planning
Theory, ear training, sight-reading, or sight-singing support
Communication concerning lesson preparation and progress
Attendance, Cancellations and Makeups
Protecting Consistency While Allowing for Real Life
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required when a student cannot attend a scheduled lesson.
With appropriate notice, an eligible cancelled lesson must be rescheduled rather than refunded or credited. Makeup lessons are arranged according to studio availability.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed lessons without notice, are forfeited and are not eligible for a refund or makeup.
During the September–June academic year, students may request no more than two qualifying schedule changes. Summer scheduling is more flexible and is arranged separately.
If the teacher must cancel a lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited.
24 hours’ notice is required. Missed lessons are not refunded.
When a Student Is Mildly Ill Learning Can Continue in a Different Way
When a student is well enough to participate but should avoid singing or strenuous playing, the scheduled lesson can still be used productively.
Depending on the student, we may work on:
Music theory
Ear training
Sight-reading or sight-singing
Language and diction
Score study
Repertoire planning
Interpretation
RCM preparation
Audition planning
This allows students to maintain consistency without placing unnecessary demands on the voice or body.
Ending Enrollment
A minimum of one month’s written notice by email is required to discontinue regular weekly lessons.
Tuition for the final notice period remains due regardless of attendance. Exceptions may be considered for serious medical emergencies or an unexpected relocation.
This notice period allows the studio to plan responsibly and offer the reserved lesson time to another student.
Progress Continues Between Lessons
Lessons provide instruction, feedback, and direction. Meaningful progress also depends on regular, focused work between sessions.
Students are encouraged to practice consistently throughout the week and to complete assignments as thoughtfully as possible. The quality and focus of practice are more important than simply counting minutes.
Practice expectations are adapted to the student’s age, level, goals, health, and schedule.
